Mindfully aware that we all learn differently
Hello and welcome!
Welcome to Mindful Learning Services.
Learning is a lifelong process and Mindful Learning Services is here to support children as well as adults who are interested in or currently pursuing educational pursuits.
Many students face academic, behavioral and social emotional challenges in the educational setting. Mindful Learning Services is focused on working with children and adults to determine how they learn best and how to utilize their strengths to help them in the educational setting, be that elementary school, middle school, high school or college.
Mindful Learning Services provides psychoeducational, academic and giftedness assessments as well as accommodation assessments for students in college wishing to access accommodations through their college.
We also provide therapy and support for students who feel anxiety from school and learning, have executive functioning difficulties or difficulties with time management or organization as well as providing mindfulness sessions.
About Me
Hi! I’m Samantha Wasowski and I’m a Licensed Educational Psychologist. I’ve had over 15 years of experience working with children in an educational setting. I’m a former elementary school teacher and a current school psychologist.
In my years of working with children, I’ve worked with a wide range of students, from preschool to high school with a wide range of learning disabilities, including Autism, ADHD, Other Health Impairments, Intellectual Disabilities and Emotional Disturbances, that have required interventions to make meaningful educational progress.
I understand the challenges students face and how those challenges can impact a student’s emotional well-being, academic progress and the toll it can take on a family.
My goal as a Licensed Educational Psychologist is to help a child and family learn the way the child learns best as well as identify the student’s strengths and challenges both in the academic and social setting.
I utilize a person-centered and person-focused assessment process to determine a person’s unique learning profile and to identify their strengths and challenges.
